Marley Vintage dress Size 8

This vintage late 1950’s era dress is an absolute gem bursting with the energy and style the era is renowned  for.

Cut in the classic shape of the era with a scooped neckline  finished in rick rack braiding,  a neat sleeve and a nipped in waist with a densely gathered circular skirt that falls with  volume and has the same embellishment as the neckline on the hem.

The centre panels of the skirt front and back giving the skirt fullness at the hips .

This is an American vintage dress the back has covered buttons rounded off in a sharp red gingham fabric for a wholesome 50’s feel.

There is an enormous hem 15cm it would have been designed so the dress hung well you could lengthen but would need to remove braiding 
  

Condition : Overall very  good there is a repair patch on the skirt, the fabric is crisp and colour great 

Fabric : No labels feels like cotton 

We have sized this as an 8 due to the small waist common for this era even though the bust is generous for an 8 it’s critical the waist fits .
